Thank Jesus and all hail Mary for FCAT week! Hearing the words "it's not required to be here..." from my teacher's lips reminds me of the words of an angel. It was so incredibly nice to have three days to myself to do whatever I want and not have to start my day at 2:41. Especially since all of my friends are home from college for their Spring Break, I got to hang out with them and not have to worry about going to bed early for school the following morning. My body was in desperate need of the sleep it received over this week, I'm so rejuevenated! I feel so awful for the teachers who made it mandatory that their students be there, that's actually the meanest thing in the world.
Starting on Tuesday, after my annoying doctor's appointment, I spent time with my long lost mother who loves to come and go out of my life (totally different story), and my best friends Lauren, Jordan, and Aly. Wednesday was the exact same thing and so was Thursday! Last night we all went downtown to Riverfront with our friends from FSU and UCF and had an amazing time although I chose not to drink and to be designated driver because I care deeeeeeply about my friends and their personal safety (safety first!).
Now it's Friday and I know I should be in school but for some reason I couldn't possibly find a way to concentrate even if I tried! Especially knowing that tonight is Friday night and then it's the weekend. Just seemed like a pointless thing to me. I actually can't wait for Spring Break. Is it April yet!?
