A teacher completely effects the class you take and unfortunately in high school, you don't really have much say in the teacher you get unless you've got it in with the guidance counselors. A lot of kids just automatically trash talk all teachers because of their job that they hold in the place we all hate being at the most. But I don't think that way about teachers, I do think that their intention is to help you learn. Except for the ones that I know everyone has had who just despises children and you don't understand why they are a teacher.I've had several teachers that I know I will never forget because of the impact they had one me. I'll only remember the positive ones. Because I've for sure had my differences with some teachers who just don't understand me, and the ones who do absolutely love me. It's not that I don't like school, because I think knowledge is incredibly powerful and I wish I could learn everything, it's just that I believe there's more to life than sitting in a classroom for eight hours a day. I've actually gone out and experienced and seen many things that seventeen year old girls usually haven't seen or done.
I absolutely can't stand when teachers think that they know what's best for you. I can't deal with someone who tells me what to do, I always have to figure it out on my own to understand. My parents know this and that's why we have an amazing relationship. When a teacher makes a rude remark or try to criticize the things you do and say, I don't believe that's their place to say. They know you for an hour and a half for a short eighteen weeks. Sorry, but I'm way more of an intricate person than who you believe me to be after eighteen weeks. I just can't stand to be judged.
